The Process

During the initial consultation, event inspiration and gown design ideas are discussed and reviewed. Fabric is sampled and confirmed. Measurements are taken and the production timeline is reviewed. The gown design is discussed in detail and confirmed. Pricing is reviewed and deposit secured. 

During the sample stage, the gown has been created in muslin as a sample rendering of the final gown concept. Gown is fitted and altered to the client’s specifications. Any changes and suggestions are made during this stage. Final approval of the fabric is made and all gown design decisions are finalized. Approximately 4 weeks after consultation.

At the first fitting, the gown has been fully created and ready to enter alterations. Gown is fitted and altered to client specifications. Approximately 16 weeks after sample stage.

All alterations have been completed and gown is ready for the final fitting. Balance is due and gown can be taken home. Gown is completed approximately 20 weeks after the sample stage and 4 weeks prior to event.
